For USPS shippers, there is no need to go to the post office to purchase postal insurance. There is no need to go to the post office to file a claim. File your claim directly with PIP for the full amount. Your invoice and a statement from the consignee is all we need to process your claim. Claims are paid within 7-10 business days of receiving your documents.

For packages shipped via UPS, FedEx and other carriers, we offer many convenient and automated options for your monthly report, no matter which manifest software you use. Simply generate your report and send your payment at the end of each month.

Great coverage.

PIP insures against lost and damaged packages. Domestic coverage insures packages shipped within the US, its possessions, and Canada. International can be included, often at the same low rate as domestic. PIP's international coverage does not exclude any service levels or countries, except where coverage provided by the policy would be in violation of any US economic or trade sanction. The policy does restrict coverage for USPS shipments to Russia.

The policy excludes coins, bullion, loose diamonds or stones, stocks, bonds, currency, deeds, evidence of debt, travelers checks, money orders, gift certificates, calling cards, lottery tickets, or any other negotiable documents. We also exclude any TV's over 25" measured diagonally. We will insure companies shipping electronics, cell phones, jewelry and other items that many other shipping insurance companies exclude.
