1. We have an electronic shipping system. Can we still use PIP?

Yes, most shipping systems produce reports specially designed for PIP users. Just tell us the system you're using and we'll tell you how to use PIP with it.

2. I use the free shipping software provided by UPS and FedEx. Can I still use PIP?

Yes. We are the first company to offer software for reporting your shipments from carrier provided systems.

3. Is there a minimum required to qualify for PIP?

Yes, shippers who qualify for PIP presently spend about $1,000 or more annually with the carrier to insure their packages. Another way to determine if you qualify is if you average $4/day in DV charges (based on 250 shipping days).

4. How do I stop insuring with the carrier--and what do I say?

You have no responsibility to say anything at all. Just stop recording declared values for the carrier. Our clients have never had any trouble in changing over.

5. How do we pay PIP? Do you send us a bill?

PIP sends no bills and requires no deposit premium. At the end of each month, simply mail your Report of Shipments along with your check. EFT/ACH payments are also available.

6. How do I receive payment for my claims?

First submit your claim to the carrier. When you receive the carrier's payment, complete our brief claim form and PIP will pay the balance. We'll pay your claim within seven working days upon receipt of all documentation.
